Whoopies,
For those who read Dutch there is on http://fotografiegroep.seniorennet.be a free course in digital photography. Click on 'lessen fotografie' at the left. One for beginners and one for advanced photographers. Its free to be a member, without advertising, and you have to make homework!! This means that your photo's on a theme will be judged by teachers. Have a look yourself, I can recommend it!

Hoi Gaurav,
Have a look at the forum Tips & techniques. Member Corneel Timmermans gives a link to the Digital photography school. I don't know if they give any certificate for that course, just started. Perhaps not, it's not for professionals, just to learn and practise.
Very nice abstract photo with all those colors and small lights!
