Hi,
I had my camera, canon 30D, for at least 9 months now and I wanted to ask if it is time to clean anything inside the camera.
I bought a nikon cleaning pen, which has a brush on one side and some sort of cleaning cloth on the other side and I think by this i can manage to clean my lens.
Is there another way? Is there a need to regularly clean the camera mirror for example?

I use a greenclean set, it contains several items to clean the camera inside, the sensor and so on.
There is a can which you can use as a vacuumcleaner, some weth sticks to clean the sensor and dry sticks to wipe it afterwards dry. This sticks you can use also for the lenses.
When you use a weth stick the fluïd dries without stripes.
If I clean my camera inside I clean everything including the mirror.
kind regards ruud

Maybe you don't believe but I use my vacuum cleaner to remove the dust from my pentax K10D. I reduce the power of it opening the hole that they have in the tube.
It´s easy and works perfectly ... and you save lots of money.

ok, thanx.
i must admit i don't think i've ever thoroughly cleaned my SLR. i usually just use a little blowerbrush. i kind of intimidates me to tackle it with something wet, or even the vacuum cleaner.
