what an excelent site ! thanks a lot De Stilte to give the link (I particulary like the timeline in "start the journey", it very well made and his pictures are really amazing)
another photographe site (Yann Arthus-Bertrand) which is one of the most famous photographer in France for his beautiful shot of "Earth from above" (I don't know if this photographe is known in other countries...)

@ nature, Yann Arthus-Bertrand is also known in the netherlands because of his outstanding work in altitude photography. Some of his pictures ( aspecially from holland.;-) ) I already know, but his site I've never seen before, thanks alot for it!!!

@de stilte, Frans Lanting is one of my photography Idols for a few years, since about 4 years ago I found the really greatest diary with his pic's. He publishes regularly in National Geographic.
For 2006 I found a beautifull diary in France called: Agenda de la Terre, by Arnaud Guérin. His project is called 'Lithosphère'. Such diaries are true little treasures.
@nature, like de stilte states already Yann.... is also known in the Netherlands
