can anyone tell me how to combine 4 photos into one picture.? I see lots of you have done it.ps not on top of each other but side by side.

Halo dingo,
the easiest way is with "Picasa2" - freeware. Look it up with google. Some of my collages are made with this program. Have fun!

Hi Dingo,
In Photoshop, you can use File > Automate > Contact sheet II.
You either have to open all four images in Photoshop prior to creating the contact sheet (and use "open files") or put all images into one directory (and none other than the ones you want to use) and select that directory.
This method, however, is very inflexible. I usually combine the photos in photoshop using various layers, guides and spacers (if I want to add a frame). This is rather tedious, but the most flexible way.

i do it in photoshop too, but obiously not the 'right' way ;-)
i just but the pictures in the photomerge (for panoramas) and clue them together maunally... most important: it works too
have fun doing them i look out if i can see them ;-)

I suppose you want to put, say, 4 pictures in 2 rows by 2 columns. For that I use a plugin you can download for free at: http://richardrosenman.com/software/downloads/
