@ Bunny: that's right that the frame is also "a good thing" for the rating. For exemple another of my pic I'm not very proud of... :)
134090
I've got a 4 for this pic but if you try to imagine it without the frame... :S ...IMO this shot is very poor! I took it during a night and the green on the left and right don't have a good focus!
The only thing rated on this pic is IMO the frame and maybe the drop of water :) (moreover Aitor G said it rather clearly in his comment :) )
So, I think some times an "original" frame is nice to see and make the "watcher" (I don't know the translation for "someone who look a photo"... :D ) forgeting the remainder of the pic...
to compare, I've seen this shot by Lena which had a 3.33
146096
I think this colors are more natural so it's better than my poor shot... :S

@ Nature, I agree with you, sometimes I put pic's on Whoophy that are really good quality, but don't get rating at all, while others that have less quality get a 4 or more rating, with a frame. I think that beacause of the frame, they attract more attention, then the ones without, which doesn't mean that the pic's are better. But Bunny is right, you don't pic a pic on the wall without a proper frame en listing.

most of the time - when i use frame - it's only when i don't like the green backround
for the picture. I try, even with simple white or black to seperet the colors of the picture from the basic green backround.

Bunny has said: "I just have seen your explaination for doing the frame, i do it exactly the same..."
I think it's normal, because I think sometimes we have got similar style...
Which pic is not a Bunny's one?

Do you think it was too easy? :D
NB or rather QB (like Question Bonus) : There is a detail (a bad one for the result of this intruder pic but sometimes it's a good thing for a photo...) which could be avoided. Which is this detail or effect?
(Wesley is ever a Winner and I know that he know the answer, :) chuuut Wesley...)

Well my dearest members ...

All the pictures with frames are very great ... But ... IMO ... I prefer not to add any kind of frame to my pictures ... maybe in the next future I'll do it with the enlarger at darkroom ... but I'm not sure of that ... I like it as I saw it before to take the picture ... that's why !!!

My Regards to all of you ...

Cheers !!!
