hi,

i took made this panoramic shot with the help of photostitch. the seams where the merging of the different photos are noticeable. how does one get rid of them? i experimented a bit on photoshop, smudging and blurring after sampling for colour with the dropper. the results were unsatisfactory.

any tips? thanks!
btw, this is mt keira, which can be seen from our patio here in australia.

It happens to me also.

I think the best thing you can do use manual lighting settings when you take the picture, the same for every picture.

I you use automatic mode each picture is shot with a different shutter speed and aperture which causes colour differences

Hi Agnes,

I took the liberty of editing your picture in photoshop to show you an example...
Here it is:

I used 'healing brush' in photoshop to blur the edges in your picture. Most photostitch programs have some kind of smooth edges-function, so that might work too...

btw. very nice view!

This was stitched in photoshop. Easy to tell: the path between images is diagonal by default but since your photos were well lighted this is hardly noticeable.

Attached is a 360ยบ panorama I took in October 2005 at the haifa City Museum, Israel. The exhibition is dedicated for the 100 anniversary for the Hejaz Railway.

Pity that Woophy doesn't allow a higher image size

Hi Alex,

Thanks for the comments. I'm a "landscape-lover" !

Ps : the beetles-pic 37869. We found the insects in the (dark) shadow of a big tree. Maybe you're rigtht, this isn't one of my best pictures but if you don't try...

Be patient and practice, and you will be as good at stitching as Nonkel :) I had to look hard to see the joins and it's not clear unless you know what to look for.
Experiment with the settings and options and you will have good results.
It's a lot of fun ~ I have added a ghost to a Halooween photo of my girls and they all got a shock, and I have transoprted a friend into a car at the other end of the country for a publication in a magazine!
PS ~ Alex, the 360 shot of the museum is great!
