From time to time when browsing the forums I know some of you mention being amateurs and some talk about learning more about photography and improving their photos.
There are a lot of resources online to help you out.
So I thought I'd make this thread and give some links that I found.
Feel free to add onto it. Or even ask questions.
Links:
Kodak

Photography Tips
I came across this just today. I like it because its simple advice. Not too complicated.
You can navigate through the menu on your left hand side. When understanding basics you can click the "More advanced techniques" link.
Deviantart
------------
This is the main art community I'm on and people often make tutorials for various things.
Click "download to desktop":
Introduction to the Curves tool
Landscape Photography
Creative Photography for Beginners
Portrait Photography
Long Exposure Light Painting (just click on image)
Composition in Photography
Photo.net
--------------
Their forums are fantastic. If you cant find the answer to your photography questions there you can ask and they will respond quickly and which as much information as possible.
happy reading
oh and this
The Ultimate Exposure Computer
it says its for nature photographers but reading and understanding this can be applied to any genre of photography.
Cheers,
Lani
