To continue the tradition of making topics with series of pictures of the same subject on the forum, I would like to start a sheep collection. I remember times when we had fun about the funny sheep below (1st picture), enjoyed the nice sheep-pictures by Carla Broekhuizen and even discussed the best way to picture a sheep before it runs away. Since than I pictured more sheep. I would like to share some of my pictures with you. Feel free to put yours in this beautiful green grazing-land...

Great Aitor and drora. Thanks!
We can find sheep at all places in the world, but they can be so different.
Nice pictures you added; I hope a lot more will follow! ;-)

Hey Roderick,
sheep are a wonderful topic for a forum :-) Great pictures, I really like your second one, even though he's scruffy, and the curious lamb. Carla's picture of the big horned ram is great too.
I have a love/hate relationship with sheep (based on their brains and when they choose to use them, which is not often!!) and of course there are millions of them here in New Zealand. This is the only sheep picture I have at the moment, they would not stand still and let me get closer for the picture :-).
I will try and get some close-up shots soon.

As a Scotsman we all have a certain love for sheep and found memories of the university girls that came to help with the lambing.

hehehehe Paul Bonini said As a Scotsman we all have a certain love for sheep which is a bit of a worry - I thought it was only the Australians who felt that way about sheep!! [Aussie bashing is a national hobby in NZ by the way, but deep down we really are quite fond of them :-)]
here's a lovely sheep by Cybra

To reply to Alexn - scotsman are really fond of lambing girls
For the rest of the world - these are young girls normaly at University who help on farms durning lambing season. Lambing girls recat to being out in the country by 1. Drinking a lot 2. Teasing local boys 3. Drinking some more 4. Actually helping in the lambing process with very long elbow lenghth rubber gloves 5. Having a few more drinks at the end of the day.
You can spot a lambing girl by: A The drunken look, B The lack of sleep C the young boys following behind her.
