The temple has hundreds of years (from 7th. century). The trees grow very fast there. It may have less than 1 hundred years. On Zoomfreaky's selection, the last tree is similar. It is in TA PHROM temple (13th. c.) in Siem Reap (Angkor) complex.

Hi Aitor, my pics were taken on the Canarian island La Palma where I was for one week. The whole week it was very cloudy but at 2000 m high I could leave those clouds underneath me and enjoy the sun :)
The second pic shows the Canarian pine trees, they get water out of the air and provide the island with it. (think this is no good english but hope you'll understand...)
And Xavier, nice pics, thanks for all your comments, I will have a look at your collection now.

Very nice idea , Aitor , and great responses ! Here is a photo that I took a few years ago @ Eastwoodhill Arboretum , the largest collection of Northern Hemisphere trees in the Southern Hemisphere, encompassing an area of over 150 hectares. More info about this wonderful place @ http://www.eastwoodhill.org.nz/ Regards , PanasoNic .
