It is a great atmospheric picture, I really like the raw texture of the wall coming out. The pic would be better with the girl as a dark shape in the light spot, a bit more to the right.

A little bit of history about the picture ...
The moment when I took the picture, I was walking around the park, I saw the light over the stone on the wall, and I said: Mmmmmm could be a good shot ... I pick up my reflex camera charger with a B/W film, than I was on the ground focusing the frame, and suddenly ... she appears "Just Walking" inside the frame at the same time that my finger push the shoter ...
I never see her before and after the picture ...
I think that some pictures gets some great value because the moments ... and not just because you said (like me) :" Mmmmmm could be a good shot" ... other conditions can appear in the moment when your finger shots ... My photography teacher told me some day ... "Phillipo : The Eye It's The Doubt" ...
That's why I love this photo ... because the mistery of that moment ...

I do like this "film noir" type of captured moments. For me, there is too much formless, black place on the sides, and in the middle of the light there's no colour. Even in B&W it's good to have some "touchable" surface, but here, there are no details (f.ex: of the wall). Apart from this, I think "she" was needed! Really! Plus, what I like the most is the fact you let enough place for those who enjoy your photo. I mean (it's quoted from a great writer) all masterworks are made twice: when the author writes/makes/paints etc it, it is only HALF ready, but when the "audience" individually "digests" it, that is the moment when something is done. But for this you have to leave place for his/her fantasy, dreams, soul if you want. In your picture there's enough place, so I can feel really well "in" it!!
