Hi, Woophians
I'm so sorry for letting you wait!
I must admit I'm not an expert, so I evaluate photos more aesthetically than techinically. And almost every pic here is beautiful, attracts your eye, makes you watch a scene from a distance and share some kind of experience from above.
After long thoughts, I chose these three, which are completely different in topic: we have Nature , Man's work, and Man's physical strength and beauty.
My third choice is Jan Landman's
It's a macro and a micro at the same time. It's simple but moving. The snails are harmonic, the colour is perfect, it's Nature in its simplicity. Love it.
The second best is Granny Christina's roofs
I like this photo a lot, It's an amazing game of lines and colours, perfectly arranged and kept, shows us how man is able to build marvellous habitats, places where we feel like living. I wish every city could maintain these jewels that well.
And finally my first choice, which has to do with my personal preferences as well. M. Hakan's diver.
I'm very fond of water sports and diving is one of them. The perspective of this act, the movement of the body, the brightness and sparkle of the water beneath him, makes this photo a masterpiece and could be chose for any sports magazine or even for National Geographic. That's my humble opinion, of course. I'd like to have a poster of this photo on my wall to remind me life is a permanent risk.
Congratulations to all three....and also too many others which made my days.
