I took the image using a fisheye at F16 1sec exp using intentional camera movement for the effect. LR4 was used to change the image to mono and develop, and add a little grain. Let me know what you think!

Besides, not so many have a fluent english to understand you and to be able to reply. Ok, my honest opinion, then. Everything about your choices seems reasonable to me: lens, F stop, shutter speed, software used. My main concerns rely on two "doubts": the subject itself that isn't appealing (to me, of course, just one sincere opinion), nor even clear what is it (a merry-goes-round?), and the harsh white light at the back, too strong also imho (that could be corrected partially in LR4).
