Geoffrey McElwaine Member	# Posted: 6 May 08 16:01 Reply Scott. Good question ! I don't think that there is a " formula " but, in general, I try to keep the captions to my pictures - a. As brief as possible. In part, this is because of an awareness that many Woophy members do not have English as their first language : and b. Informative ( giving those who view them facts about where the picture was taken, historical background, etc. ) or - sometimes, when I think it is appropriate - humourous.
