Ik vind de kleuren foto het mooiste

Hartstikke leuk idee !!

I like them both, the coloured one looks more tasteful, just to take another bite. The black and white picture is refreshing. So wat is the use of the picture? Then you can make your choice, in winter the coloured, in summer the black and white? I thought it was an apple but a pear as suggested by Els is also an opportunity. But you did a great job.

Mmmmm...hm...I like the coloured one , it looks like it was very delicious

Looks like an apple.
I prefer the colored version.

Oh, I forgot to guess; in my opinion this is nashi- a hybrid betwen apple and pear

I think there is no "best" one dieuwertje, they are both good pictures..........but personally I prefer the coloured one......and perhaps with the compo of the b/w one ???....

an apple!!

@ Lali, I don't want to be a nerd or something like that, but a nashi pear is a real pear and not hybrid of an apple and a pear......

Nashi pear @ wikipedia...

An apple. And I like the coloured one, because it is a better harmony.

The coloured one is immediately recognisable as a fruit of some sort. The B/W is a much more abstract and high key representation. My favourite, therefore, would depend upon my mood - at the moment I'm feeling comfortable and relaxed, so I would pick the coloured one.

And - I think its a pear but, whatever it is, its a very good macro of a fresh fruit.

For sure the coloured one!

I like the b&w! The pattern of the white pulp (like melting snow) and the wooden texture on the seeds' surface is much more evident (see in full screen, please!). And, don't know why, the landscape format is more suitable
I usually follow 2 rules:
- if there is not a special reason for portraut format, better use the landscape;
- if there is not a special reason for colour (well, quite often there is some), use b&w.

IMO, it's a pity that the picture is not perfectly sharp, but you could try it again. The idea is very good.

Thank you all for the learnful reactions I got. I see that most of you like the coloured one. But the opinion of TBM I like also.
So it's still diffecult for me to make a good choise.
By the way it was an apple, I was eating it and so an idea was born.

Best regards, Dieuwertje

I liked the coloured photo. I would have said a pear but hey! what about little lambs hooves poking through the snow?????? (No, I'm not a sheep farmer)

Hi Dieuwertje,

I like the colored version the most. But I have to say that I like the compo of the b/w one more then the colored.
Maybe you can make the same compo of the colored version as the b/w one.

Regards,

Oscar

Olá Dieuwertje… As I commented with Vidar in the Forum… colorful Photos or black person and white depend on the focus, both are pretty! In case of pictures I taste especially of the black and white photo because it standes out details that the color hides! Here this is clear if to observe the seeds. In the colorful photo some details if lose! Although the color to evidence the set! I would be in the doubt also! Exactly thus I liked the fruit! Greetings…
