My father's familly in late 50's; I think he was around 18 on that photo and he shure is the most handsome one among the man
(he is the one with reluctant expression on his face, surrounded with two sisters)
My mother and her sister; just look at the cute teddy bear in my mother's arms. The photo was taken around 1955/56, mama was four or five years old.
That's the privilege of living in the hills; beutiful friendship betwen my mother and deer orphan. The picture is from 1965.
Sweet sixteen; that was the most modern hairstayle in 1967...an there had to be a sleeveless pullover too

I found those photos made by Willy Broks of delightful oldfashioned hotel..staying in such a hotel must be trully like a traveling with a time machine...

Yeah! The hotell is in Mosjøen. ( absolut middel of Norway) The hotel is 200 years old and alle the owners of the hotell have been women !! Amazing history !! It was like I was feeling the present of them, when I were there. When I took this photoes, I was visiting the town for sergery on my both eyes, so I was nearly blind at this moment the photoes was taken. But I do not think that was the reason I did see the magic in the room, and "THINK" I saw one of the lady`s pasing me in the hall. Enjoy !

Great topic, Lali!
Last Sunday I was in Aulla, a small town in Tuscany. Entering in town, I was overwhelmed by the typical Time-Machine effect .
The village was full with WW2 soldiers and vehicles! American jeeps, German trucks and bikes, a couple of armored cars... I had found a meeting of collectors of vintage vehicles and uniforms. It was like being in an old war movie, except for those G.I.s who were drinking beers with a couple of German officers  ...
So, here is the Wermacht withdrawing from town..
... American paratroopers making friends with a German soldier...
... and an Italian armored car...
