Since Ruud~ posted his topic about small, medium and large pxs, some people post gigantic pxs (I mean in size) in the forum topics. It's a real problem because you see only a part of the px and you have to use the scroll bars to see it all but never in total. May I suggest to post ONLY in "medium" size. When I want to see it in large I can always use the click tool. Thanks.

When you see a big image which size goes beyond the size of your screen it is because of two posibilities:
1. (most common): The picture is not hosted in the Woophy server, this means that you are displaying an image which is for example in your personal web site. If this is the case, the picture will be shown in it original size, probably big.
2. (never seen one): The picture was specifically psoted to be big as Ruud~ shows in the following topic: Small, Medium and Large
By default when you add a picture by it ID (so the picture is in the Woophy server) the size will be medium (m).
Pansa, you have to bear in mind that many users of the Woophy forum as PARC usually post in the forum pictures that are hosted in their web sites.

I can see all pictures without scrolling, even the bigger... and then it's really nice to have a large view already in the forum... so maybe it could be a problem of the configuration of your browser or the configuration of the screen??

I have the same problem as Pansa... and when you have large pics in a forum, also the text follows the width of the pics, and you have to scroll in order to read the lines... that's very unconfrotable.

@TBM and Pansa: Can any of you take a screen capture and post it to the forum so that I can see what the problem is, maybe Ruden is right and the problem is the size of your screen.
How to take a screen capture

Ok, that's a bug with IE 6 and the way Woophy displays the pictures. I will notify Marcel right now.
For the mean while, I sugest every person who is having this problem to update to IE 7 or download Mozilla Firefox (strongly recommended).
Greetings Marcos.

Yes, I use Mozilla Firefox and I don't have this problem at all... Even the largest pictures are very well framed in the screen. But looking at the image that TBM posted I understand that this is a very disturbing problem.

Hi Pansa, TBM,
In newer browsers the "large" version is only some 50% wider than the medium size. I'm using firefox right now, but as Marcel pointed out (see here), the resizing is handled pretty badly by the current version of Firefox.
He's right. It looks much better in Opera. (Opera and Firefox are free, try them)
Bye!

Hi Marcos,
I use IE7 and have the same problem as pansa. I dont mind the photographs being over-large, but it also causes the text to disappear out of frame, which is very inconvenient.

My screen looks like TBM has posted. Nasty problem. I am working on 2 PC's with different screen sizes but the problem is general.

I just checked with my neighbors. They use windows ME with Internet Explorer 6 and I saw what you mean, Pansa.
There are more differences than just this bug. For instance the frames in the forums. In IE6 they show like dashed lines (big dashes, all clearly separated, quite ugly. See TBM's screenshot). In IE7. Firefox and Opera the same lines are composed of very fine dots, nearly touching each other (much nicer).
Woophy 2.0 is not fully compatible with IE6.
Pansa, what do you see when you use Opera? Which OS do you use, and which IE version?
This is what woophy looks like in Firefox (screenshot from Small, Medium and Large)

Thats it, Pansa. IE6 is too old. It can't show Woophy as intended. It's time for an upgrade! That's not difficult, though.
Anyway, I prefer Opera, for safety and speed. It's free and easy to install.

What Marcel answered me is that this problem (which is not actually a bug) will not be solved because IE 6 is an old browser and is "on its way out". Starting from there the solution I can give you is to download one of this browsers:
Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 (Windows and Mac O.S. only) Mozilla Firefox (any existing O.S.) Opera browser (any existing O.S.)
I personally suggest to try firstly Mozilla Firefox because of its advantages mainly in secure browsing and additionally its personalizing posibilities. (find more here)
