How can I give some critic on these pictures ? I'm not able to make this pieces of art. They look a bit unreal but that doesn't matter. These are dream-away-pictures for me, perfect tranquillizers. Great work, Sergio, great work !

Tranquillizers, as Nonkel said, but also full of power! I think that what strikes most in your latest pictures is the fact that you managed to create a composition where there is always an interesting subject in the foreground, one in the middle field and also one at the horizon. All in focus, of course. Here the choice of wide angle lens is rewarding - not only to open the panoramic view, but also to extend the depth of field to the extreme consequences. You can be very proud of your work

All I can do is look at them with admiration. They say such a wide angle lens is the most playful of them all and stimulates ones creativity, sure works for you, but we all know it's not the lens that makes the picture.
The Final Chapter ? I don't hope so...

Congratulations for your photos. They are close to the pro ones. Maybe the equipment was the difference to obtain fine detail, low noise and better colors. They usually have Canon 5D, Mark II, and so on. One thing that you can improve is the use of better noise reduction and sharpness filters to achieve clean and sharp images. You must search and try the endless number of them that exist. Another thing is the sky. As you can see in the site that you wrote above, all the photos has interesting clouds, and rarely a clean sky. I think it's beacause when you make some edition work in a photo with a clean sky it loose quality and the graduated remains with discontinuous tones, and some strange lines of pixels appear.

First of all, thank you all for you nice words...
Now... i am a bit of a strange person that is never happy or secure about the images i create, for instance, the first one of this post, i liked it but i never thought that people would like it so much, because despite the nice composition it has a warm unrealistic light.
I included those two sites, to show the kind of work and influence i like, and what kind of quality i'm trying to achieve. On the first link, the site of the six photographers, one of them, Mark Adamus, says that his goal is to be one of the best landscape photographer of our time, but to me it would enough to create images like those he takes (he is really very good).
Photography is a never ending learning process, and i feel that i'm always at the begining, everytime i go out i try to correct the errors (some of them childish ones) of the last time.
One thing that i already convinced myself is that good light is at least 90% of this kind of photography success, but when i go out it is normal that in a period of about 3 to 4 hours i walk usually 5 to 6km and i havent interiorized that after this effort i can go home empty handed, and this is what causes those pictures without interesting skies .
Another thing i have to learn is that those phtographs i love so much, are taken by people that get up at 4am with temperatures below 0ยบ, and this is has been very hard so far ))
When i post a picture here, or on Trekearth, olhares.com or on my own site, it is always the best ones i got so far, but i want to beleive that they are nothing compared to those that i'll post in the future.
@Paulo, the problem with the gradation I think it has to do with the resizing of pictures, i always resize them according to every site specifications, and this i beleive leads to loss of quality. I should work on the photo after the resize and i never do.
@Bluesbuster, the final chapter is because this is the third time i post about this theme, and i wouldn't want to bother people with the same theme over and over, but i'll probably keep on posting the same kind of picture.
Once again thank you all.

Sergio I think you have to make a new chapter instead of a final chapter
I like your seascape pictures very much and I love to see more of them.

Sergio, take a look at Alexandre Costa gallery in: http://olhares.aeiou.pt/utilizadores/detalhes.php? id=3203 And please compare his Canon EOS 5D photo quality with the others that he uploaded at the beginning. He has photos that perfectly could figure in the sites mentioned above. I like very much your way of thinking and to deal with photography... always looking for improve. You are on the right track, and I believe that you will be a photographer with excellence, due to that immense desire to develop... and, in addition, you have a quality that is characteristic of those who are truly great: the humility.

@Paulo
Yes, his photos are really amazing, he has got the same influences a myself, his favorites photographers are Adam Burton and Mark Adamus, both from timecatchers.com, he's even got a website based on the same system has this one. You are right about the difference between the cameras, the professional ones have a much better sensor than the semi-pros, if we look at the photos on the captivelandscapes.com taken with a 400d, we can see that despite they're great landscapes photographs, they show a lower image quality than those taken by the other photographers, and this is caused (i think...) by the need of a harder post processing work in order to achieve those results, and this causes like in mine a lack of reality and quality.
And this leads to the greatest question... should i upgrade to a 5d??? is it worth the money??? I beleive that the answer is yes... at least i like to think so but the real question is can i afford it??? i hope i can during 2008.
Thanks for showing me another great photographer, it always nice to have new images to stare at
