Thank you Ortho - I believe I know who it is - and I hope nobody will get offended by answers to the wrong nickname!!!!

I really admire your vigilant eye over the forum - I think somebody should nominate you "forum moderator"

Hugs

Censored,

thank you for your post, I really appreciate the further explanation, and kinder tones

By the way, who are you? perhaps an old mate not seen for long?

I never minded my "rebellious" frienships

Nathan,

my apologies if at any point you felt that my tone was unkindly. This was never my intent, it was only to give you a clear, perhaps hard, assessment of the images you posted.

When entering a contest, you go beyond a general audience to a very specific one. Your communication is to the judges and you must connect with them in order to achieve any merit. Get to know this audience beforehand, study them, present them with something that grabs them and you will have a better chance at your prize.

Be true to yourself and your vision in your own time for certain, but know which food to feed to the lions, yes?

I know of your work here at Woophy, perhaps you once knew of mine, I do not know.

I hope my advice helps but it will not be around for long after joris sees this........

Nathan,

I understand you point of view, you try to made something diferent, but be careful because this examples of pictures - the little boy playing soccer, and the indians in fisheye- the message is really confusing is nonexistent and meaningless, especially since all of us dont know the philosophical sense of your -art-.
Art not only acquires the artistic sense when the author points out, the artist is the one who really makes things without presumption of what is art. The purpose behind the speech is more powerful than the object itself, and to be honest with you, your object-images-and your speech lack an artistic sense, that attempted it 80 years ago in ParĂs the dada movement, I say all of this with the utmost respect.

@ censored by joris, I really don't know what you are talking about?

- Are you sure you were scensored ?
- Are you sure it was me and not one of the other moderators?
- Are you sure you are not seeing any ghost?

If you have a complaint you can always mail but I haven't received any complains about scensoring.
