Great B&W shots. I started in the B&W analog era, so I have some good feelings with it. In B&W you can simplify the picture to the essentials. A fgew of mine.

@geert: colour! First because I like that blue/brown contrast, second because in the coloured version the reflected sky is more visible...

Geert, I think this subject is made for b&w. Like Drora said, more dramatic.

@drora, TBM, Martin: thank you for your comments. i agree with Martin that this is a subject made for b&w. and indeed, drora, it looks more dramatic. the blue-brown-contrast that TBM mentions has made me first choose for colour. it's a dilemma for me (but not too seriously).
