Congratulations for your new camera and happy new year to you too !
I have played with light before too, when I bought my second and actual camera, I took many photos just running and moving my camera in long exposure times but the only picture that remains in Woophy of those times is this one:
In this picture I shoted cars, street lights and some other lights of the street. The black background are houses and the clear clear bottom of the picture was made by the lights of the cars reflected on the street.
I can upload some of the others but they are not as good as yours. ;)
By the way, I like a lot the first picture and the seventh one because of their abstraction and the picture number ten counting from top to bottom.
Greetings,
Marcos.

Thanx Marcos, love the colors and depth in yours. It is so much fun isn't it? Within a week or 2 I'm gonna play with light with my Photoclub, curious what that will bring...:) The actual running part I haven't done yet, but I sure am gonna try that one. Again beautiful painting with light...:) Greetz, Bojoura

Nice topic, Zoomfreaky!
In a broader sense, I have one pic that I actually called, a couple of months ago, "painting with light". It's different from your work, but hope you also like it. It's a very personal approach to Florence (Firenze):

This is really painted with light :D
Illuminated by LED torch in complete darkness - true colours! - 30sec. f11
And this is something similar!
And to an extend, this is too!
Great great topic, I've done soo much experimenting with this, its a great technique!
Hugs to all,
Nathan

Fantastic photos in this forum. Interesting light effects.
I made my first experience, playing with lights, in my home. I put my camera in a tripode and used the B position. I went around the room with a light, opening and closing it. I must practice more time! And I think we can obtain better and funny results with an assistant (with black clothes) pointing the light to us.
Here you are my ghosts:

You are scaring the children, Paulo! Stop at once or I will have to report you!
By the way, maybe you should add these to the "Woophy's Most Haunted" forum topic!
LOL!
