Very enjoyable, this thread. I though t i had posted here? What evs. Here's some of mine from Australia, where I'm sure the greenof healthy growth is a different green, to join the green appreciation club


I hope this isn't a double post.

Railway Green!

Female King Parrot. I m not sure I've done justice to the depth of colour in these birds. The males have strong red heads, which just serves to make the green in them greener, if you know what I mean. And there's more! Both sexes have some flourescent feathers in their wings that can only been seen under ultraviolet light. Presumably these birds can perceive in this part of the spectrum.
Amazing all round, huh. But for a new and majestic green, they are tops. The red in them is pretty good too!
