I send you a tutorial for Windows XP
It is based on a french release :-(
I hope it will help you, nevertheless.

@Aline: magnificent! tnx, I didn't know about this possibility!
I got a little frustrated because it just didn't work on my computer.
after trying and reading problem-solving on the internet, I found out
that you have to have at least one shortcut on your desktop for this to work.
so: in the second control-screen of your tutorial you must have at least one of those
items selected. - or for those who use tweak or another powertoy, select at least one
shortcut in the desktop-section.
Thanks again Aline, this is really useful,
W.Z.

@Aline: thanks for this tip! But I have two questions:
- Does the background have to be white?
- Doesn't this slow down your pc?

@Big_Apple ;
- No, the background can be in another color..It was just an advise, but I'm sorry, I wrote it as a condition. My mistake.
- I have ADSL at home as at work. I never noticed slowdown for my PCs.
But I would not advise to implemente such web link on a desktop without a High Speed Internet Line.

It's no problem, Aline. Just allow me to ask just one more question :). Is it possible to stay online and comment on pictures from your desktop wallpaper without having to open your browser?

Yes and no ... :-)
I can click everywhere on my wallpaper as a browser's page. When my click opens a new window, This sub-window is automatically opened with my browser.
But If I want to write a comment, I have to be login. So, in this case, Woophy asks me first my ID.
I didn't find the way to have Woophy opened as wall paper with an automatic login, even if windows XP allows me to declare my ID in the setup of my Web wall-paper.
But I know it is possible, I did that once, but I don't remember how :-))))
Maybe someone here has the solution ?

@Aline,
when you log in there's a little box you can cross "remember me".
log in, cross the box and you'll be loged in automatically on your desktop as well.
(look at your cookie pollicy as well)

Oh, yes, W., of course, you are right !
Thank you very much.
I already crossed the box a long time ago, but obviously I have to do that once time more after the implementation of the wallpaper ...

Now I'm having trouble, I click on sign in and it just sends me to the "my pictures" page in woophy as devish, so I did access, but when I go back to the desktop it still tells me to sign in.
How can I do what you did?

So, first you have to check the login box? and after that you have to re-install your wallpaper?
Cause I now checked that box when I logged in, I refreshed my wallpaper but it remains the same.

At the moment, I use one of my own pics.
It is taken in Porsgrunn city park, and the day was so warm and nice. I was sitting on a bench and pointed my camera upwards to photograph the tree. It reminds me of summer.

I change my wallpaper at least once a week, sometimes with my own photos but often I use photos from other sources that have taken my fancy. This storm photo is my current one taken by my brother who lives in South Australia
