IMO the B&W and also for the same reason as bunny mentioned and even if you crop the coloured one in the same way , the B&W stays better.

dieuwertje ,I have to agree with Bunny and de Stilte. The B&W version has a lot more tension in my opinion, the coloured one is " just a fence ". a nice fence but still......,and I also thank you for your nice comments!!!

Hi Diewertje, as all the others I prefer the B/W.
The fense is more coming out of the pic instead of the colored version. By the b/w you can see the fense better.

I also vote for the B&W version, for the crop and added contrast.

Hi Diewertje,
The B&W is stronger. Go on!

from the two pictures shown, the b/w one is better.
But if you crop the colored picture the same way as the b/w, making the green a bit stronger and keep the white of the fence, than I think the colored version is better.

Thanks all for your comments, as you can see I cropped rhe colourd one, but I think also the B/W is still better now.
It's for me new to make B/W pictures, so I am glad you give me this support.

Personally I prefer the black and white version, because, as I think, what you want to show with this pictuse is the repetition of a geometrical figure, and IMO B&W works best for this.
I must say though that the contrast between the green and the white in the coloured pic is nice too.
