Yeah, for example Aqaba wasn't/isn't on the map.
How could have T. E. Lawrence taken it from the Turkish with this map?

Currently the images of Aqaba and the Red Sea are located in exile at Wadi Rum 40 km away in the desert hinterland.

Zerega,

If you mean Al Aqabah Jordan on the red sea it is on our map. try Aqabah when you upload.

BTW the ship and the smoke is a very very nice picture

Sasa,

You cant add, but most of the cities you might want to add are in our database. Just the way they are spelled is sometimes a bit strange.

Please send us an email with the city you want to add and we will help

ahhhhhhhh, Aqabah.
As Lawrence said, all the 1000 different ways to transcribe Arabic into Latin script are scrap.

Joris, thanks for the info, i'll relocate the images to their proper place. (And while uploading the Burma series I found out that almost every tiny spot is on the map)

What about places in the Antarctica?

I haven't been there but flew over it when Aerolineas Argentinas still went from Rio Gallegos to Auckland with a shot from above near the South Pole waiting to be placed on the map!

Several weeks ago I tried to add a view pictures I made on the Channel Islands: Guernsey and Sark. It was also not possible. Guernsey is on the list, but even its capital St PetersPort and the village St. Martin is not found.

Thank you Joris
I found Saint Peter Port.
The next picture called 'old houses 'is actually made in Saint Martins, a small village more south from St Peter Port
The last picture was made on one of the other islands from the 'Channel Islands-group', called Sark. I know, it is a very small island, but never the less: very nice!

I think, this problem can be solved by adding a new functionality.

If Master can add the search by longitude / lattitude..?

Why i worry? The site names, used by WOOPHY for my country are strange, may be, taken from ancient Polish maps.
For example - Zavita Vtoraya named today as Zavitaya, Hrodna as Grodna, Vitsyebsk as Vityebsk.

So, i have a good topographical map of my country (Byelarus), and i can find the geographical coordinates of any plase here, but i cant use them in Woophy!

I also agree that geographical coordinates with own name of places is a good idea - if somebody will make a joke of it (read: ABUSE), then there should be a "report abuse" button (and Master goes to revision :).
