hello everyone in the woophy world! i'm so happy to have found this kind of picture's planet...!! even thou i didn't understand very well how it works...but i think i understod well that joris is one of the creators of this site..thanks!
could someone explain how does the contests work (do u choose between all the pics or i have to send u the ones i'd like to ?), and how is possible to send pics to joris?
thanks 4 any kind of helping
this is really a great way of using internet (alla faccia degli intermediari che tutto ci vogliono far pagare!)

Hi Jack, welcom on Woophy. To participate on the monthly competion you first have to add the picture on the map. Than you copy the ID number of the picture. Go to contest topic on the forum and Click on 'insert image'. Paste the ID number in and if you like you can add some text in the textfield. By 'preview', you can see if every thing is ok. Than click on 'post message' below the textfield and your entry is in the competition. You can also add pictures of other members in the competition. Ofcourse you put the name of the photographer in the textfield. Every month there is an new theme. Hope every thjng is clear for you. If not, just ask.

Carla: sure you can only participate with pics uploaded at woophy?
I thought any pic posted in the competition boards might be ok, be it source woophy or own server?

Hi Marie, can you tell me how to upload a picture in the forum without uploading first on the map? I did not know that it was possible?

Hi Carla,
when adding a pic to a forum posting, you can there choose between woophy ID or full picture url.
So if you have own webspace and have pics on there, you can paste in the url of those pics.
I did so with my January pic as a found it hasn't much to do with the place where it was taken.
