 Can somebody please explain to me why i have lost my ''SILVER CAMERA" i have recently come back to WOOPHY after a long layoff, busy times, and i posted some new photos, and was pleasently surprised to be awarded a ''SILVER CAMERA'' , this is only about a week or so ago....
Yesterday i was online after receiving some nice comments, and i see that my ''SILVER CAMERA'' is not next to my name anymore.
...has it been stolen ???
Or has it been borrowed by somebody who wants to take a few pictures ??? 
Shall i report this disappearance to the police ???
....If anybody knows the answer to this BIG MYSTERY, i would be very greatful if you let me kwow...

 O.K. Now i know whats happend, it's those mealy mouthed, bandy legged, begrudging, green eyed, small minded, DREADED DOWNRATERS

....Sunday i deleted 40 images from my portfolio...most of them with few comments or ratings...this is +- 30% of my portfolio...monday i open my portfolio and to my great surprise !!!!!!! What do i see...??? " A GOLD CAMERA "..... CAN ANYBODY HELP ME SOLVE THIS MYSTERY ??? ....

....Hmmmm...Igone,that could possibly be the case...but have you given a thought to the GOLD CAMERA FAIRY....thats also a possibility....as long as i still get lots of pleasure from visiting the ' WOOPHY ' site it does'nt matter if you get a camera or not...the comments from the members are more than reward, mostly,

A downrater is a person who gives 4 to a pic which deserves no more than 3, but which has nevertheless received a lot of 5's from all the friends of the author of the pic.

@ myra: Or it's a person who writes a comment saying stuff like "Brilliant! Genius" "I love it" or a simple "Nice - 5" Or even just "5", but then mysteriously clicks on a number of stars that is less than 5.
We must also never forget the infamous anonymous downrater stylist. This person doesn't write any comment at all, but just clicks a low star. Now, that is pure class.
Why? We can only guess, but Larryart's second post above handles most possibilities.
Don't let it bother you, however annoying it can be. It's all part of the "fun".
