Gio, unhappily it seems not everyone agrees with enlarging pics before comments/rates ... . It's enough to look at the data about large views in each pic being commented/rated! As I already supported before, when the staff has time and money for some improvements, I consider a change in this matter the most important in the site: from the thumbnail the clicking should open a medium-large pic ready to be seen with greater accuracy than the present small-medium one and to be commented/rated. And yes, I also agree with you about the chance of a black background.
Best regards, Miguel

Miguel "the magician",
Thanks a lot for your comment, and you're absolutely right about mentionning this "special woophy characteristic"(thumbnail > medium large). I also consider that the third step/clicking before enlarged should be avoided.
Best regards, Gio

1. I never comment/rate without seeing the large view first.
2. The black background would be more appealing than the white one. Or we might eventualy be allowed to choose (black or white).
3. One way of reducing the three clicks to reach the large view is to click the first icon on the left below the small view (that icon drives you directly to the larger format and you save one click!)

@ Gio: Thanks for a knew name, "the magician"! You don't know but that was my first job in the dreams of a 5 y.o. child )) @ Abílio: 1. How many of us?... 2. Agree, as I said above. 3. That's not the big problem. The first clicking should lead to what I call medium-large size (still with space for comments). The second click (in many sites already not used if the first leads to the size I mention) could, then, open the full-size. In my opinion, as a question of practical evidence at "real" woophyan behaviours, copyrights guarantee and the site owners costs, I support the one click only solution, from thumbnail to medium-large (plus, if you prefer) size. Comments and rates would take advantage of this: it would be harder to hide the head below the sand (hehehe, does this exist in english? ) when commenting a clearly unsharp pic, negligent tilt horizon, burned clouds/sky, careless details in compos, etc. I'm crossing my fingers for the staff having time and money for it! Well, and supporting this idea too...

Why not just: first click, you get the large version including the title and if you want to comment/rate click for a second time.
