Hi everyone!
Happy new year to ALL !!!
Still going strong.. ( me ) 
I have plan to visit Portugal in August 2010.
Kambrosi plan to come too , so I want to bee there when he come.
Are there ennyone who think it is a great idea to make a kind of
gathering in Porto in that period ?
I'm sure my friends living in this aeria is happy to see me and all
other woopian who is able to come. I plan to stay for a period of 2-3 weeks.
Ennyone who know a nice place to stay? Maybe some of us can rent a house/flat
together, so we do not have to live all over the town 
Ennyone who have some good idea abouth it? Happy to hear if ennyone have some
good idea

Hi, Willy!
I'm glad you are coming to my country (I hope you mean Portugal, not Protogal)) next summer.
Should I have room enough for you, Kambrosis and others... unfortunately I have not .
Anyway, it's something I can have a look for. The best for me to have a few free time to share with you both (and all others who will come) is the month of July (in August I'm on holidays and generally I'm away, at least for 2 or 3 weeks).
Let us see how many people would like to come and if the period is coincident. Besides, I think we could organize another Woophy Meeting like the one at Aveiro last May, in a weekend (17/18 July, for instance), for all those who have a short time to stay over here.
Ok, why not here, in this Forum topic, the previous enlistment?

Than I will stay at the Alves familly 
That will be the greatest time off all !!
To visit two really wonderful photographers!!
And I'm sure they have somthing to learn me
Life is wonderful !!
And Life will be complete, if so many as posible can be at
a gathering there too

August? A bad month, me thinks. Il tutto Portugallo is away on vacation, even if they have to beg, borrow or steal the money. Except me, of course. I don't do vacations. I wish you luck!

I will be glad with this encounter. But I think that August is a bad month. So, I agree with SJS. I´ll try of course to be in Aveiro or in another place to see you, Javier and others. But re-think August...
And I agree with Miguel - we may organize another meeting in May, for instance, like we had done last year in Aveiro!!! I´m (and Miguel surely...) waiting your suggestions.

Willy, Paulo is joking with ... the portuguese wine)).
As SJS and Teresa say, August is not the best to come. Not for the prices (SJS thinks of the Algarve where the prices really increase in August, but not in the north), but because the local inhabitants go on holidays, the cities are almost empty and business is almost stopped. Anyway, better August than in winter on account of the weather. If you could come on July it should be the best.
Oh, if I guess which Alves family you are talking about, let me say that they live 155kms (1h40m) away (south) from Porto . Only to your knowledge. But they are really great people!
[Teresa, the Meeting should be held in the same weeks of Willy and Javí's stay with us, I think ]
Anyone else to come?

Yeah.. The date I come..will be when Javier come. Have promise him that I wil be there when he come I like to keep my promise
Do not know Portugal geographic so much..so have to studdy some more
155 km..it's not so big distance..so think that will be ok only have to find out
how to get there
The nearest big town from my place is 250 km away..so I am used to travel far
And what a hell...I'm allreaddy traveling to Portugal..hehe And I'm sure I will see
much of your contry..have been a dream for a long time and what I have seen in photoes from Portugal..than I really have problems waiting for the time to come !!!
I'm sure I have the same feeling I had when I did come to Iceland : I feel I was coming home!!
Even I have never been there..
I cant promise that I have learn the language at arrivel...but sure read some info abouth your contry And I really looking forward to see other landscape and people, then what I am used to
Today we have really bad weather...snowstorm..got maybe 20 cm snow this day..so hope it will end during the night...dont need more snow now
So I am a bitt longing for the sun and warm temperature. But this is life under the Arctic Circle

Hello everybody! Have a great 2010!
Well, seeing your advices, certainly we must reconsider the dates.
May be last days of May or fist of June? (remember Jan and Trudy are organizing a W. week- end at Alkmaar 11th and 12th of June. -two birth with one stone, for me, he he -).
Anyway, not easy to coordinate this long trip for me... (job holidays, money, etc)
... and now, I have more reasons to come to Portugal... I need a therapy for prevent envelhecimento cardíaco,. alzheimer, cancro da próstata, . mau colesterol,. pedras nos rins
. artríte reumatóide,. alergia às flores e outras coisas.
