You probably don't recognize a canal in these but they were both taken at the sluice in the "Zuid-Willemsvaart" at Neerharen...

La Loire : "The last savage River of Europa" Loire is now a protected river, in order to allow the reproduction of salmons and other fishes. Thera are also a lot of birds who lived on the side and on island.
