i'm jus a bit "chauvine": i can't resist to show you riverbank of Garonne; just here was living Claude Nougaro, a great toulousain, who paid homages to our city Toulouse.

You probably don't recognize a canal in these but they were both taken at the sluice in the "Zuid-Willemsvaart" at Neerharen...

 Some canals views in Venice  La Loire : "The last savage River of Europa" Loire is now a protected river, in order to allow the reproduction of salmons and other fishes. Thera are also a lot of birds who lived on the side and on island.  River in Briere March, Brittany - France
