Hi Jack
I noticed this also. I had a photo that said "1 download" I opened the picture and right clicked on the picture and saved a copy. Then I went back and ckecked the details and it said "2 downloads" so I means some one copied your picture and saved it to their computer-I think

The download number refers to the amount of times that an image has been opened in a large view. Just try and see...

Ruden is right, it's a misnomer, it means "large views".

Ruden is right and furthermore, I observed, the commencing point of the download counter number starts from the launch of Woophy 2.0 (7th of February) and those earlier downloads were not counted, so is there a relevant point for the counter here???? (unless Woophy members are aware of this starting point, the numbers could be misleading).

Thank to everyone regarding this question which I was worrying about. I tested out the theory that it relates to the number of times a large image is opened and Ruden is correct - opening an image in large view does change the download number.

However the Woophy T&Cs state: "Visitors of woophy.com can download a low resolution image of all photos you upload." This would suggest that it is actually possible to download an image - I would be very interested to know how.

@Teresa: It's easy to download to your computer an image. Just open the large image and then click the right button of your mouse and select "save image as..." (I think it should be like this in english). Then just save it in the folder that you prefer, give it a name and... enjoy it!

Best regards!
