What does it mean when you get a vote on a picture

hy !
Well, first of all it means that someone considered your pic and thought it deserved to be voted, which is a good thing, whatever the vote is; because there are a lot of pics that don't get voted either because members don't think the pic is interesting enough or because it is simply skipped by woophy members in the ocean of daily pics uploaded. So whatever vote is better than no vote.
After this long introduction for such a subject the last thing I have to say is that votes go from 1 to 5 and 5 is better and 1 is worst.
It is recommended, and this is something very important for many of us, to not only vote but also comment a picture, because comments can be very constructive, much more than a vote. So as a general suggestion to make woophy a better place (this sentence sounds like a commercial!!!!!) you should both comment and vote a piciture.

If you get voted what does that mean. Do you win a spot on a page or something. Since it is good to get voted on what comes out of the votes?

no no, nothing like that, it is good if it is a nice vote, becuase it means that someone liked your picture.
It is not good because you get anything back from the vote, just because it shoul make you feel happy that someone voted a picture of yours.
Anyhow, there is a "recognition" if you get a certain number of votes.
At least 10 pictures with more than three votes each with a score of 3.75 or higher is a bronze camera
...................................................................... .........................................4 or higher is a silver camera
...................................................................... ........................................4.24 or higher is a gold camera
But you don't get any prizes, it is just a symbol that is shown on your portfolio.

I have 10 pictures that have received a vote of 5. How do I get the gold camera on my portfolio?

As devish wrote, the pictures need at least 3 votes each. Then the camera will appear automatically.

.. hm.. considering all this what was said, it looks like I have to get this "golden camera sign" in my portfolio, because I have at least 2 pictures (for now) with more than 10 votes and a score higher then 4.25, but I still dont see this "magic golden camera sign"? Where should I see this sign?
Much more interesting thing is, can I make a search for pictures ordered by the score for the previous month, Or by some other month that I will choose, except the current one?
Another nice feature would be order by score and comments...
I am just new here & wondering if something like that exists "somewhere" here, but I just can't find it? I like the green color of woophy, it is just "perfect"!

as I see on your portfolio you do have a golden camera (on the bottom left of any of your picture icons and on your personal icon).
Anyhow it is not at least 2 pics with more that 10 votes but at least 10 pics with more than 3 votes (of 4.25 and up).
You can search all the pictures you have posted the last month by rating and number of views just by cliking on the search button and choosing the dates to search between and put your user name in the user name box.
There however are not too many possibilities to choose from to search with different criteria (in my opinion at least)
To search pictures from others just select member on the button on the right on your page and type his name, you will se all of his pictures around the world
