Response :
1. It is NOT TRUE that only insults were removed from the forum : the day before I left I read a downrating complaint in the forum ; the person who posted it complained about being downrated with 5 consecutive ratings of 1 ;
5 minutes later the false complaint was removed from the forum (the person HAD been 'downrated', but not with 1's).
2. Joris did not notify me that I was being accused of stealing my own pictures in the forum! Not even after I had read the same accusation as a comment on my picture. When I read that comment, I mailed Miek with an explanation and used the abuse button to ask Joris to remove the comment from my picture, because I thought that it was inappropriate. I did not recieve an answer...maybe he was busy with other matters...
3. Joris was the second person to comment on the accusation in the forum. He knew that the accusation was false and he could have just said so or removed the topic from the forum!
4. I believe that wild accusations have no place in the forum. The proper way to act = you mail the administrator of the site or - even better - you mail the person that you suspect of behaving unethically. Sercas72 and Carla had left the site because of the negative atmosphere in the forum and Joris had announced that, from now on, we should "BE GOOD"---> read the newsletter. I thought that that meant that these kinds of forum-topics would no longer be tolerated ---> I was wrong
5. Joris DID NOTHING to protect my anonimity. He made sure that HE was not the one to reveal my real name. Those two things are completely different. So legally, he IS completely innocent.
I am not crazy, Giz! :)) I could simply not believe that it is possible to make so many 'mistakes' in such a short period of time. I think that I have a right to an alias and I think that I have the right to be treated with some basic respect! Not because I am special, but because everyone has those rights.
I would also like to thank Juut for his good common sense, eventhough he does not agree with my reaction.

I'm not going to regret that you (or anyone else) is going to leave or did already. That is quite normal I think, after all woophy is a fast growing virtual community and that also attracts malicious people. And those people make others leave again.
But in this case of multiple virtual identities I want to say the following:
Of course anybody has the right to anonimity, but it is nobody but your own task to protect that anonimity. And if your real identity or another alias of yours is discovered you could try ignore that discovery and hope it will pass by unseen OR you could admit your the same person, in this virtual world nobody will blame you for taking an alias, so why bother? Think about the consequences in real life if you would experiment with taking aliases and it would be discovered... It would cost you your complete reliability! On the net it could easily be accepted however...
Some other advice you're experimenting with several virtual identities and don't want to be discovered:
make sure you can't be discovered:
- don't post pics wich you also post on another site unless you wear the same identity on both sites
- Keep all your identities to yourself, i'm convinced if you want to be anonimous by your own will you also have to carry that burden alone, it is unfair informing someone else about other id's and expecting they will take the responsibility to protect it too.

Because i am pretty sure you are or were not the only one who is using another identity and all those others can only be made aware of possible consequences... so don't take my words to personal Sath, you have been a valuable member here, after all you did make it to a member ot month...
I myself have also other id's but as far as i know nobody did yet discovered i'm actually a dog ;)
So keep smiling and keep doing the things you like do wherever you like them to do...

Sath, the administrators of this forum are people like you and me... trying to keep as much as possible people happy around this community. It is not always about being "legally right", and it is good to know that also administrators can respond in a human way.
I think your argumentation is a bit pedant, and way over the top in respect to the people that have honored and respected you. Take your accusating finger away, chill out and take a deep breath...

I wanted to explain my position and the facts clearly for the last time, to the people that I respect.
I don't see what's wrong with that.
You already told me what you think of me and my reaction. I hoped that you would have been satisfied with calling me 'egotistical', but it seems that that is not the case.
Joris is only human, like me. That's one thing we agree on.

Ok Sath let's subtitute " crazy " by overeacting. Wasn't it much easier to reply in the forum straight away and explain your own two identities to the people in the forum?
What you did is put the blame to Joris and by that the whole topic became as big as it is now. And what do you espect: Joris to be present 24 hours a day to protect us all? come on, he has a life and a job too! And we woophy members are capable of defending ourselves and in this particular case you really were the only person to explain to Miek and us what caused this error.
Nobody is denying you the right to have an alias and everybody ofcourse has to be treated with respect. So I suggest, start to show a little respect to Joris, who really isn't the one to blame in this whole topic and I repeat: who has to handle all woophymembers on his own, more the 9000 members with all their hang-ups and complains!

Sath what I forgot to say in my haste to post my answer is that you as a photographer are really missed, and I respect your decision, but that doesn't mean that I agree with the reason why you're leaving.

Joris WAS there. Did you read my response?? I never blamed him for not being there...
I tried to explain my point of view, but you still don't agree. That's too bad, but I will just have to except that.

Also my last response: I know he was there at that moment, but what I am trying to explain is: take your own responsebility in this particular case and don't put the blame on someone who was protecting your identity!

I think everything has been said here, but I just wanted to add this:
Sath, it's a pity you no longer wish to share your pictures here, but it's your decision of course, and we will have to accept and respect this.
And of course there's always the other photosite where we can see your pics... ;-)
Oh, just one more thing... Juut is she, not he... :p

And to Joris: keep up the good work (Y); I think it's not an easy job to manage this site AND forum beside your normal job!
