today, here, it is cold and windy, with rain and snow, a perfect day to stay inside and read a good book. DOLO already opened a forum about books in general, with pictures of libraries and books collections. My idea is, for Woophy members, to suggest a book that they read and liked very much, something like the forum about song titles. It can be a fiction or an essay. Here are some of my readings as an example:

"Tree, a life story" by David Suzuki and Wayne Grady Everything you want to know about the life of a tree, a great book easy to read and captivating. Available in french and maybe other languages.

"to see every bird on Earth" by Dan Koeppel.
The story of the author's father and of other birdwatchers who try to see all the birds existing on Earth. Especially fascinating is the story of Phoebe snetsinger, who survived a cancer to become one of the only two persons on Earth to have seen more than 8000 bird species.

The book "Island beneath the sea" written by Isabel Allende is worth to read. The story of a mulatte woman. a slave and concubine, determined to take control of her own destiny in a society where that would seem impossible. At the turn of the 19th century on Saint Domingue and New Orleans.
