I'm very curious........
Still very glad we managed to "survive", but how about after the next few months?
Have the 167 woophy sponsors brought enough and in such a way, woophy can keep going on after the big sponsor is gone, or are more sponsors/other ways of income needed?
When can we expect a bit information abouth this subject? I'm just very curious and maybe I speak to soon. If so I like to apologize of course.
With kind regards Kiske

I agree with you Kiske, some words on the next steps would probably be highly appreciated by all people who support the project.

from now on, the 167 Woophy sponsors can upload up to 20 photos a day, unlike the normal members which can upload more than 1.000.000

Akbar, eheheh... I heard another rumor saying that the 167 Woophy sponsors will have an unlimited amount of photos they can upload per day, unlike the normal members which can upload only 1.000.000

Paulo CalafateIn that case I'll start with all my macros of insects and flowers, followed by my 22.995 sunset shots. Or do you prefer my cat shots first?

Whats this? I was just asking a question.
Why do suddenly reactions dripping of frustration and sarcasm appear?
Dear gentlemen, I'm just like you not realy fond of several kinds of photographs over here. But who am I to say that those should be restricted, banned or shouldn't be uploaded by my fellow woophians? I'm sure mine aren't always appreciated. I'm quite sure yours aren't always too.
The diversity by stiles, items, members and even quality make that woophy is a community where everybody feels welcome. If this only means I don't have to spend time to look at images that are not appealing to me by making another click on my computer, its not so much of an "offer" I think.
We are all guests on this site. I suggest we all behave like one.
Without having the intention to be disrespectful, only feeling the need to react against negativity at woophy.
With kind regards, Kiske

Hi all,
In our next newsletter we will tell you all about the sponsor, our plans for the coming six to twelve months.
About joking, sarcasm, critics and speaking out.
Woophy - unlike almost all other photo communities - thinks that all members should be able to speak out their opinions to the other members. This uncensored and visible on a central spot on the website.
Of course we have to sensor or moderate sometimes but we still believe in the old fashioned idea of an ‘open platform’
BTW sarcasm and joking is often misunderstood due to different cultures and the fact that not everybody writes (like me), speaks or understands English in the same way

To Akbar and Joris.
Thank you both for reacting.
Humor has a lot of different faces and I guess I fail to recognize this one.
Is there a date known when the next newsletter will be published?
With kind regards, Kiske

I've just read the last Newsletter. I must say I'm desapointed: no words on the expected changes for improving Woophy. Maybe could you say a little more on your plans ? Thanks !

After reading the newsletter and waiting a bit more, I want to ask the same question again.
Have the woophy sponsors brought enough and in such a way, woophy can keep going on, even if Eurobookings (great job by the way and many thanks to Eurobookings) should leave, or are more sponsors/other ways of income needed?
I've read about the plans an ideas, they're quite allright I think, but what about the foundation for all this?
With kind regards Kiske
