Great! Three more "YES"! And I guess josecps will still handle with his chess ocupation.
By now we are 27. Another 5 "expected" members still to confirm. We can reach 32, then.
PLEASE don't forget those last confirmations: 2 p.m. next Friday, the 15th (May), indicating YES+X (the meal you chose from the Menu in a previous page, here).
This Friday I'll send an email to all members who made their confirmation with some important details (Restaurant/Exposition address, my personal mobile number and some extra news).

Salpoente is waiting for us. Everything is almost ready and will begin this week to send the press release and invitations about the exhibition.
And Laura: Yes, Mafalda from Salpoente said she will provide a vegetarian meal to you. But one day is not the other days. There are special occasions like that... it deserves an exception, do you think so?

Pauliiiiiiiiiiiinho, o bacalhau está de molho, certamente! (((( Já somos 16 pr'ó dito cujo! E ao todo parece q seremos... 33 (e a porta fecha com 34, nem mais um; até era para ser aos 32! ImpossÃvel mais por falta de espaço!). E o 33º vai ser uma grande surpresa... especialmente para ti, de certeza!!!

Hi friends!
I would just let everybody know that I am very sorry because I cannot join this wonderful, merry reunion. Unfortunately, when Miguel's proposal was published, I had already planned - and booked - a short holiday in France (as Bernadette wrote to me. "What an idea, to come to Paris when everybody's in Portugal!"). I hope I will see many portraits of Illustrious Woophians with big cameras and big glasses of wine in their hands!

Coutinho, por onde tem andado? Aos anos que não aparece por cá!!! Como vai isso de fotografia? Acho que finalmente nos vamos encontrar em Aveiro... agarrados às postas de bacalhau. Temo que depois do almoço as fotografias saiam pró tremidas... blurredes!!! Vou ter que usar a prioridade à velocidade e pôr a máquina a disparar a uns providenciais 1/500 sec.

We are 31, by now. I'm still expecting 2 confirmations (or, unhappily, not). Only 1 extra place can be reserved, now, as there is no room for more than 34. So...

Confirmations closed .
(unless Paolo La Farina could still confirm his coming with his wife, as expected before, but that for a particular strong reason that we would be happy if overcome in the next days).
So, the Meeting has the nice number of 31 participations (7 non-portuguese)!
By curiosity, the main course, at lunch, is as following:

Timetable:
We are able to meet, before lunch (to all those who have time enough to reach Aveiro in time) at 11.45 / 12.00 am at the Forum Aveiro, just in front of Zara (in the outside, at the round space).
For those who will reach Aveiro a bit later, please be at the Restaurant/Exposition local (SalPoente) at 12.45 to start at 1.00 pm (british time)).
After the meal we expect to have our tour by Moliceiro ("ship"), at the Ria ("river").
The Photo Exposition opening is at 6.00 pm at SalPoente, with reception!
The 48 pics will be for sale (same price for everyone's) and there will be about 150 sets of A5 postcards (not A6) (of 16 pics each, one from each photographer, on one side, and the other two pics in small size, the avatar and Curriculum Vitae in portuguese and english - thanks SJS! - on the other side) for sale, too.
A small gift (a handcraft by a well known local artist) will be offered to all Woophy members participating at the Meeting, as well as to those foreigners that weren't able to come from so far. Other small gifts (book and booklets) are still a chance to be offered to everyone. A Woophy T-Shirt will be given by lottery among the participants at the Meeting.
Today, saturday morning, all participants will get an email with my mobile number, just in case...
Anxious to meet you all there, I want to publicly thank so much to Teresa Soares for all her engagement and efforts in this organisation, not only in her own Photo Exposition organisation, but also in the Meeting!

Às 9h00 já estarei em Aveiro a inspecionar o terreno. É que conheço mal a cidade e vou aproveitar para tirar uma fotos catitas de manhã... gosto de andar sozinho de máquina em riste. Mais concentrado!!!
