To see what people get when they search the Woophy site with "search by member + name" I entered my own name, without being logged in as a Woophy member. I was a bit surprised that the pictures in a portfolio are presented in random order. I mean, not according to the order of uploading. I find this a bit anoying, especially when you have uploaded a series of pictures that go together, e.g. when you have made a report on something or on an event using a sequence of pictures. With this manner of presenting the portfolio, the viewers loose contact with the "story-thread" one had in mind. I would like to suggest to present the portfolio's in the order the member uploaded his pics. Another advantage of this system is that one can see the evolution in someone's photos or the progress people make. I don't know if this is technically possible. Maybe other members already suggested the idea. But nevertheless it is still great to have Woophy. Great improvements and good uploading! Thanks!

I am suprised. Are you sure you didn't sort by rating? (I tried as well, and I never get something random: it is either sorted by most recent, or by rating).

Strange indeed, no problems over here. Not in Opera or Internet Explorer.
Maybe you can try to delete the cache, cookies, history in your browser.
Resetting IE can also solve many problems in the browser: http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2006/06/12/628499 .aspx
Also uninstalling and installing flash could fix problems, for doing this download uninstall here: http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?ext ernalId=tn_14157
Hope this will be helpful

@ ortho : I don't find how you can activate 'sort by rating' or 'sort by most recent' when I don't sign up myself and just enter my name + search by member (as if I were just a visitor of Woophy)
@ oscar : thanks for the advice but none of the three suggested methods seems to have any effect, my pics are still presented in a portfolio in random order

Yes, I found it !
I should go to the third tab on the homepage, which is the tab "search"
when you try it on the home page with the first tab "map" (where visitors are likely to start their search when first looking at the site) then it doesn't work !!
Thanks guys! see you on Woophy!

Hi Kurt,
I think that the search through the 'Map page' sorts by ranking. And it makes a lot of sense: you see first the 'best' pics. On the other hand, I don't think that many people will search there, as it is not very pratical: only one search argument, the member name has to the the exact one (not the first characters), ...
