You have to be careful with the content of your pics, as well as with their EXIF data. Here are a few guidelines ...
First of all, change the date/time on your camera, as these will be found in the EXIF data of your pictures. If you don't care about the time/date yourself, put anything in the appropriate fields on your camera. If they are important for you, change them to something meaningful: e.g. set the date as 4am if it is 4pm, and vice versa. In this way, the time is right, on a 12-hour basis. It is more complex for the date: I suggest that you add or substract 10 years (or, better, one century if your camera allows it).
Second, be careful when photographing clocks. It's all right if the time is notoriously wrong, such as on churches just after a change to summer or winter time.

But never photograph clocks in a railway station.

Third, avoid places where there are lots of other photographers: you will end up on their pics! (and maybe your boy/girlfriend too).

Fourth, avoid places where there are webcams, such as here.
And finally, never borrow the camera of someone else. What will your partner think when s/he finds out that the camera model that you used on that business trip, is not yours?
