@Joris: The last mail here I got for your posting yesterday. It was similar in the other forum topics (one mail for one or more postings). Is it possible that one gets only one mail for the next posting in the forum after logout? If so, it seems to work fine now.
I haven't had a problem with the notification about comments on my pics.

Yes Joris, I had never problems with comments but I do have problems with receiving mails from the forum. Today I received 3 mails from the forum. As I viewed the latest posts in the different forum topics that I selected to receive emails then I had to receive at least a couple of 10 mails.

I agree with Oscar; all comments on pics arrive in my mailbox, but post from this forum now and then. As an example, from the 4 post from Oscar this hour,
I received 1 in my mailbox. The same yesterday, some posts arrive, most not.

I received one e-mail for the first new posting in a forum topic since my last visit. For the next postings I got no mail. After I have visited the topic again, I received another mail for the next posting within this topic. I have this behaviour since two days.

I noticed exactly the same problem as Olmze did. Only one notifying from the forum topic and after visiting the topic another one, while there were a lot more postings in the meanwhile.

This is how it's supposed to work.
From the support forums of miniBB (the software we use for this form):
miniBB provides possibility of "subscriptions" to the topic, however, user WILL NOT receive each and every reply until he views the topic on forums actually.
It means, for example, you subscribe to this thread, then I answer you, and you get notified about my reply on the email (you read not the full message by the way, but only the first 150 symbols). Then if somebody else answers, and you still haven't clicked on the topic link and haven't read the message on forums, you WILL NOT get this notification. But if you have read the topic already, you WILL get it again.

All right Marcel!, thanks for your clarification. Now I understand why not all the posts come in my mailbox. Its because of the used software. Well, I can live with that.

Thanks Marcel for explanation and I understand the rules of miniBB. But with woophy 1 we always received mails from every entry that was made in the forum.
I can live with the idea you explained. It certainly keeps my mailbox clean

All these replies and comments about a few missing emails! Seems to me that there is more concern about the system working correct technically than whether people use the system properly (e.g. the use of keywords, a hobby horse of mine. What's a hobby horse, I hear the non-brits ask? Too hard to explain). Anyway, I get too many emails! Just have a look at your pictures or forum topics occasionally - don't wait for emails to prompt you! Do we really need emails clogging up bandwidth?

I was surprised by the new newsletter that I discovered by reading some gratulations.
I didn't receive any newsbrief notification or html format by mail. Does anybody has the same ?
