Miguel, you are right. it must be your own choice to publish the date a photo is made. there are already too much Big Brothers watching. the privacy-issue generally is underestimated. so, indeed Joris, correct this!

If the majority does not want time in the Exif info it is fine with us.
In fact it makes me really happy that this is the major complaint with 2.0.
To tell the truth I was afraid that Woophy 2.0 would get the same treatment as Windows Vista (entirely justified IMO) when it was first introduced.
As Scarlet pointed out we are not working on Sunday and also we cannot change things instantly but we listen to everything you have to say and when the time is there we fix it.
In fact the Exif is shown because you the members asked for it.
If you have any more complaints, remarks and bugs please go to the bug and remarks forum http://www.woophy.com/forum/2_3028_0.html

Hi Joris, Marcel,
I think you should maybe disable the exif info until you can give us the means to control which tags are shown.
What do you think of the thumbnails? I really miss the well sized, uncropped thumbnails of woophy 1.
Good luck with all the work, and a big thank you for all that has already been done!

I remember suggesting adding a time dimension a while ago. It would be interesting to know which year or at least decade the picture was taken (Just look at Orthos time pieces from the 70ies and 80ies) and the month or season, especially where it isn't obvious, i.e. images from the tropics.
So maybe you can add a possibility either to
- show the EXIF camera click time and date or - hide this and/or - enter the month and year by hand for each images to allow for time searches.
Except for the newest software versions of my scanner, my images don't have any EXIF at all. If the have, the time of scanning or saving with the Realviz Stitcher or PS will be added which is quite odd for images taken maybe 10 years ago.
