Very uncomfartable for the time being, but we will learn and get used to it. IMO the thumbnails are toooooooo small to judge a picture. I didn't find out yet how to select a favorite photographer.

to Pansa:

click on the photographer's name; you get a screen with his/her photos, profile, ... and, on the top right, there are three icons, the last one being the addition to your favorites list.

Well done, Guys!
It's exciting to have change, and I can't stand routine. But besides that, there is a lot more diversity now, the appearance is much improved and it is generally much more open.
I agree with Miguel too, though, that the EXIF info goes too far.
I haven't seen everything yet, as I've not much time today, but I can't work out how to see all of my picture collection like before. Help, please?
And above all, is there now some device to counter the Dreaded Anonymous Downrater (DAD)?

It's looking really good.

Best wishes & big thanks to all you maestros for your fantastic efforts

Hello everybody!

Welcome to woophy 2.0! this is absolutely fantastic!
I'm sorry i haven't been around for a while, I'm in New york on vacation and keeping very busy!
Will post a full portfolio very very soon!

For now though, i read some of your comments, and I have to agree with Miguel, regarding the date of the image uploaded. I am only thinking that all this EXIF data might cause quite a few problems in case of stolen pictures. If before a thief would have only had the photo, now they would also acquire all the data. Which would mean that the only way for the photographer to prove ownership of the photo, would be to keep the RAW file with all the initial data of the photo....

Let me know what you think about this,

I will be back very soon,

Hugs to all,

Nathan

The data is in the picture, so if someone steals it he has the data with it.

For me it doesn't matter that all the exif data is there (I like it very much!) and other photo sites use it all the time. I think it's very good to learn from.

Maybee an option in the users acount where he can deside to show the exif data is an idea?

Thanks, Nathan, for supporting the idea that the date of pics taking, shown together with Exif data, is an attack to privacy, and we hope Joris and Marcel are already working on it to solve this big problem, putting the date away! A different problem, which is related with Woophy protection of members' images from being stollen and used with commercial abuse, is that the EXIF data is shown on the site, but Woophy (unlike other sites I heard about)continues to erase it from the infofile inside each image. Once someone downloads the image from Woophy there is no ownership info, contact address, or keywords for tracking, for instance (things you might want to "put" into the exif data). This means that, on the contrary of what you think, a broad exif data is important (not the date shown here to everyone, you know what I mean), mainly "inside" each pic, as that would prevent (not making easier as you think, I guess) from being stolen! That's why I think that, at this point, we are having too much of something (date shown everyone) and maybe a few of other "thing" (the inside "infofile" for those who care more about images protection).
Anyway, let's wait for Joris and Marcel work and news about this.
This problem apart, and some other few details to be improved, we have to recognize and thank them for their hard work!
Greets,
Miguel

My congratulations to Joris, Marcel and the team ! A new Woophy 2.0-expedition starts for me.

But I agree with Miguel about the date that you took the picture(s). This date doesn't matter.

Anyway, Woophy 2.0 looks phantastic !!
