By me the ApertureValue is shown but it is not right. For example I took some flower pictures at the lowest Aperture Value but Woophy tells me it has taken from 6 or higher.
Is this problem caused by editing in a photoeditingprogramm?

I'm very happy with the improvements so far.

Still confused. When I click "My Woophy" and then "My pictures" I get "Add a px". The field of that same name is not clickable? Is this a bug?

I agree with pansa, the way how we can access to our own pictures is confused.

ray9 is also mentioning the browsing problem that I have. I've just spent awhile trying to go thru pictures uploaded today, and it is so many MORE clicks.... Comments and longer descriptions can't be browsed anymore, you have to go to a larger view. But not being able to browse the day's pictures is really going to change how I have used Woophy and I'm sorry to say may make me look at and comment on many fewer pictures. I'm far less likely to find new photographers this way. It seems as if every place browsing was available in the old interface is gone. I want to like the new interface, but this is really discouraging.

It's not very disturbing but I have small black squares that appear with the time on my woophy page. If I actualize the page these black squares disappear.

Might be more your internet browser or pc than the actual site i used to have that with another site on my old laptop.I had a virus and also old version of fire fox and this caused my problem.

Hello,

I have the "black square problem", too. I use an actually patched windows 2000,
firefox 2.0.0.12 and Flash Player 9.0.115.0 (and I have no virus )

I think Woophy 2.0 is great, the problems at the start of such a big improvement are normal.

Personally I miss an easy way to see the number of views of my pictures - I won't klick them to review the amount because that does increase the number of views.

Greetings Oliver

I use windows XP SP2, explorer ie7 and Flash Player 9.0.115.0. No virus has been detected yesterday evening by Norton.

Hugs to all

Joris and Martin, I have been working with the new woophy and I am happy to find the working of most options.
I like the lay out and the new colours, the only thing is that I need new glasses now to look at the thumb-nails, but I saw I am not the only one.
And I should like it when I can see my portfolio on my own side.
Good luck whit woophy 2.0.

I'm just starting to get accustomed to the new look I think I like it. Two questions, though:

When uploading a photo, do I now have to enter the city where I live, instead of the city where the picture was taken? I don't like that idea - it's much nicer to be able to find pictures based on where they were taken. But now the upload page says "Enter the city you live in and select the city from the list."

What does a specification like "ShutterSpeedValue: 4906891/1000000 sec. (APEX: 5)" in the EXIF info mean?

Umm, I guess that I've been out of the loop for a while, eh?

So, I was trying to catch up, and it seemed to me that there were more than a few very important conversations going on in this forum.

I guess that I would like to ask you "Old Timers", to tone it down a bit for those of us that are still learning.

Maybe you guys and gals that are familiar with Forum, and each other ... Could slow down a bit, and break up your /our issues in a way that the rest of us could try to keep up with you?

Thanks!

@ Zazi . Sorry it seems very fast in the forum due to the change to the site , this has caused a frenzy.
Maybe you can open your own thread and ask what you like . Maybe "the old timers" as you put it might slow down and break it down for you.

The first site was quite "self-explanatoy". But the new version is a complete mistery to me. How do a sent an email to a member? I have been clicking on names etc. but ......... I am at the point of quiting. It's a disaster.

It has it's small problems, but I'm sure they will be fixed.
How to find a members adress: In the forum, you can click on the members avatar to open up the members photos. Look at the three icons up left. Move the pointer to them for info.

@pansa : to send e-mail to a member, clic on the little icon (draw of letter with orange "man") on top right of the member window. It's difficult to change my habits
edit : oups... I should read better what other people write! Sorry!

To Pansa:
in addition to what Vidar just wrote .... When displaying a pic by a certain member, click on the member name, and then you have the three icons mentioned by Vidar.
Or, go to the Member tab, search for the specific member, etc.

But I agree with you: it's far from straightforward.

Christian C, the name of the portuguese member you mentioned, is badly written by you. The accent is not `but ´ ! So write António Peixoto Guimarães and there he is! That, is not a bug . The other problem of black squares I also have some times! And never before! And no virus! That is a bug.
