E-card is a template/s designed and proposed by the website to its members who can choose a photo, whether it is theirs or others, and e-mail it to family and friends. A short text can be added in most cases.

It seems like a nice idea, but how will the photogapher get credit for his photo?

They wont, an e-card is an e-mail message with the explaination to click on a link. When that link is opened you will be on woophy and you will see the photograph (and photographer etc.) and a friendly text from the person that sent you the e-card.
Great idear, do it!

yes, the last idea is ok: only the link to the photos
OR
you can make one checkbox where user can say 'I want (don't want) to allow using of my photos on e-card system'
also you will have to send email to all users to inform them about this (i think the default should be 'dont want')
