Woophy Survey
Thanks to all of you who participated in our survey
Until now 40 people took part in the survey and among them we choose randomly one participant which we reward with a Woophy T-shirt. The lucky person is Bernadette !!
Because we really like to have more of your opinions we ask all the people who have not participated yet to do this now. Among the new participants we will also give away one Woophy T-shirt.

As I hope now is sufficiently clear the survey is made by Wim Jan who will use the results in his graduation project. Also we at Woophy will use your input to improve the site and to convince possible advertisers to put their ads on Woophy.
Some of the first results
Although 40 people is hardly representative for the whole Woophy community the average Woophian is
42 years old, male, has received higher education, and earns an average salary. Among the participants where bus drivers and a chief financial officer.
Asked ‘I'm on Woophy because I want to...’ people answered
1. share pictures 92%
2. look at pictures someone else made 81%
3. receive good, bad and helpful comments 71%
Almost nobody uses Woophy in planning trips or does use Woophy in order to become famous.
85 % of the people feel connected with Woophy
Some things people miss on Woophy
1. A random member of the day
2. Ability to edit ones own comments
3. add favourite members to a photostream of pictures that your favourite members have uploaded.
4. critiques from professional
5. a better rating system
6. better protection against photo theft
7. more newsletters
About advertisement 82 % of the people have no objection against relevant ads.
Some suggestions to improve Woopy:
• I would very much like the opportunity to post e.g. one picture a month anonymously that other members can comment anonymously during one month
• for the last 10 years of internet navigation, this the website that hooked me longer, because of its friendly environment and the friendship of its members, whatever you do try not to loose this features... Human aspect is probably the most important of all
• there should be more incentives to keep the members active. A good example is the "unofficial monthly contest". Bonus system with points for being active could be another way. Thanks for your questions, I hope the will help you.
• I suggest the possibilities to sell photos through the site.
• Every year a Woophy photo book in the shops.

Everybody who filled in the survey, thank you very much!
The results are very helpful for me.
I still need a lot more participants to make the survey more reliable and as Joris mentioned, you can win a famous Woophy T-shirt.
The survey will take about 5 minutes with questions about you, advertisements on Woophy, some questions about travelling and you can leave suggestions.

We now have 47 participants, Thank you very much.
As I mentioned in the post of 21th December, to make it more reliable I need more participants. So feel free to fill in the survey, it is not necessary to leave your e-mail address.
