Hi everyone, the title, even if it sounds a bit weird maybe, has got something to do with what I want to say:
Just a few minutes ago I thought of something that sounds quite interesting to me:
What if we add to the forum a section where anyone who comes here to woophy for the first time can say hallo, show he is here, and introduce himself. I thought of this for two reasons:
1) It would help us havesome sort of opinion on any member who comes here and wants to start being a part of woophy, I am saying this because it has happened in the past (and still does) that am afraid to leave any positive comments to people that have just registered on woophy because I am afraid that they could be "chaters". This obviously would not stop any cheater to say hallo in the topic thus gaining my trust, but anyway it's an idea.
2) Many other sites have something like this in their forumd and I think it is a smart idea to show you are there and start being active in the community.
Anyhow, I think, even without considering these two points, that this is a good idea, what do you think?

I agree also, but this doesn't work if newcomers don't look at the forum. Also when the forum threat is placed it dissapeared after a couple of days or weeks.
I think this can only work by a hyperlink on the main page to this forum threat.

Yes Oscar, you are right! We can also add the link to the specific forum section in the email that arrives to all new woophy members, anyhow, I am glad you like this idea

i think its great idea and also good idea from oscar too as think some members find the forum quite daunting but great idea devish.

Yes Devish a really good idea. That could help newcomers to feel very fast comfortable and welcomed in this community.
How knows, maybe there is a section for "Newcomers" in the soon released Woophy 2 Update??

Think it is a good idea Devish and perhaps the woophy staff can add this with the remark it is obligatory........I think it will prefend some problems.....

It is a good idea.It might help to get some new members on the forums.
It's not easy to come here and throw yourself in the middle of the subjects.
The welcome you receive is warm, so why not give that to every newcomer in a special "nice to meet you" threat?
