Dear Woophy friends
After a longer absence on Woophy and I must admit looking at other photocommunities and starting my own home page in the meantime, I have come back here just on time, before the long approaching winter evenings.
Back because Woophy is not only my first photocommunity but has a family charisma like no-one else. Here one does not just make a short visit, here one gets stuck and feels comfortable.
It is nice to be back again, but......
.... unfortunately, dear friends have gone away, they have been annoyed, pushed in front of the head, injured and finally retired.
Many have expressed their regret about this and hope for a return. I must tell the ones who describe such "leavings" as normal that exactly this warm-heartedness is the excellent feature of this photocommunity under each other. Other Communities are unattainably to woophy by their size, their technology, the shown picture collections and many other things therefore my great hope is:
Woophy stay what makes you outstanding: a photosharing community which is family and characterized under the members by warm dealing. Do not fall into the anonymity of many other web sites.
I thank all the ones who contribute to this family and look forward to the new improved Woophy 2.

good to see you back in the "family".
Yes, some of our friends have gone, but i hope some of them didn't leave us forever, as pansa knows it would not be the first time that an ex-woophyan comes back ;-)

I am new here, but I must admit that it is a pleasure to enter woophy and contact people around the world, teach our photos and view those of other members. This spirit is unique and we must look after him, even in difficult moments.
I hope that the translator perform their job well and understand my words.

Agree with fercar. Woophy is a great photo-club, an excellent means of sharing our POVs about photography, with constuctive and friendly feelings. I've been here only for 3 months and I already feel at home. To be sincere, I'm only a bit surprised seeing how much some members are concerned about ratings/downratings/upratings... My advice is: forget those little numbers, folks, let's talk photography!

Welcome back ergoe... and I hope the others also return to the site.
And I remember, for example: Stijn Copens, Serge Tardif, Laurent Ladouce, Coutinho, Aitor G, Ricardo Baigorria, Aline, John Melskens, and many others that i don't remember ...

I will never leave,and indeed a sad day that Joris was obliged to delete some accounts to end all hostilities and quarrels on woophy and I really hope we can go on now enjoying this site and do as Bogers and see woophy and its members as big inspirators.

You' r right. But at least they didn't remove their galleries. IMO of course. Isn't it a naturel progress that you reduce your efforts and commitments now and then? I also have some (mental) problems to keep active allthough I like Woophy very much. But Paulo keep on posting your very special pxs.
