Here are the final results for the "Most Beautiful Photo of August 2011"
The winning photo was taken by Mirsad Mujanovic:
An impressive composition in different tones of blue where rocks are melting with the sky and all lines lead the eye to the troubled man that obviously is carrying a heavy load maybe not physically but certainly mentally. The excellent editing work makes us curious to know the original but perhaps it is better that it is not reveiled so that the mysterious atmosphere will prevail in our senses.

Second place goes this month goes to Abílio Silveira:
A splendid scene in black and white tones showing young children with various emotions when receiving their reward for a ballet performace. The unusual position of the lady handing out the rewards is the trigger of most directions that can be found in this picture. On the other hand the expressions of the girls opening the rewards make you realize that children have an untroubled vision on life. A moment to cherish !

Siriusrubin achieves the third place with
A technically and compositionally very strong landscape photo. The depth is fascinating. The ideal position of the cows in front of the lake, the mountains and sky - all in splendid natural colours - create a harmonious image that keeps holding the attention of the viewer.
