With all the work on the year contest we were very busy this month so the results of the January contest are a little bit later this time.
Also we had a lot of work in the jury to come to these winners. We all had sometimes different opinions but we all agreed with these results and we are very happy to present these results to you all. Also we want to thanks Chino Lemus for his great help in the jury.
Also we are proud to present you a new first price of the NUC. Woophy stimulates this contest very much and that’s why they want to offer a beautiful green Woophy shirt.
Thanks to Woophy for their support.
Now we go to the first price.
Amazing but true, Lali you are a lucky woman this month.
You won the first price of the January 2009 contest. A T-shirt will be sent to your home and an Woophy icon will be placed with your name.
Here the winning picture of Lali:
A heart breathing picture of a young little girl that sits on a stair against this sweet little old house. We had all three good feelings looking to this picture. The grey tones you used in this picture as even the grainy view makes this picture extra strong. We liked the effect very much and in our opinion a true winner.

On the second place we have Kambrosis:
Another amazing photo of Kambrosis.
In this picture Javier shows to us with a great technique of colour and excellent background blur, a very important part of Argentina culture that it's a family of gauchos walking through life and just a few steps the future of the family.
You already have to us customary to very good photographs.

On the third place we selected the picture of Zeeg:
This picture shows as a ‚fire dance‘ ritual in Indonesia. With this fabulous, mystical and magical atmosphere you can fall in trance…
The scene is perfect, show us a local traditions witch lets us dream away in a other country. The dark is a fine contrast to the fire and the persons. Well done!

Zeeg, this a very interesting scene, culturally speaking.

Oh my god...that's a bit to much...and all I can think is that now someone will have to remove my venetian mask from ferbruary NUC...oh, sorry, do not know what to say...THANK YOU ALL!!!...oh...and sincere congratulations to Javi and Zeeg, those two were both among my favorite candidates!!!

Holla, I just discover the results !
Very happy to be in this selection with the beautiful pictures of Lali and Kambrosis. Congratulations to you for your work!
I must add I thank you all for your nice and encouraging comments on my pics. Some of them touch me a lot, and show we can share and transmit emotions through pictures.
