Our Woophy friend GaVo (Gabriel Rojas) has won the 2007 News contest (just saw this in the newsletter) with one of his amazing photos of an anti-Bush demonstration in Bogota, Colombia.
GaVo is a long time Woophy member who does great street photography. Congratulations to him!

Congrats from me as well GaVo. A well deserved first place.
Yesterday when I read through a national newspaper here in the Netherlands I saw a picture on the middle pages (huge print) of a photo I recognized immediately. It was GaVo's with the story underneath and it also said that he was the winner of the Woophy contest! I was very surprised of course.
Did you know your pic was printed in a Dutch newspaper GaVo? Did anyone else see it as well?
Anyway, congarts with that as well of course and to the other Woophy members winning and with honourable mentions. All great photos! This is Woophy at its best, lets keep it that way!
