I have an Ipad, it looks the perfect solution for traveling light to Madrid.
But help.... I cannot recieve Woophy on my Ipad,( because of adobe flash player?)
Is there a possibility at the moment or do I have to wait until they have invented it?
Who can tell me?

Ho Trudy,
Apple blocks (boycotts) Adobe Flash on the I-pad. They say it is because of (a lot farfetched) technical reasons.
Other people think it is because Apple wants rich content (photo’s, videos, games, applications) to be viewed through their apps (rather than through the regular free internet by means of Flash). This way they can control the content and get a large share of the income earned through apps.
Contrary to what some people think there is no real alternative for Flash when it comes to high quality interactive and scalable vector graphics or - in the case of Woophy - applications with lots of database generated links which are graphically displayed (the hundreds of dots on the Woophy maps) At least there is no solution that works on every platform.
Since Apple is more powerful than Woophy we must adapt Woophy to the I-pad whenever that becomes possible and affordable (yes somebody has to pay of course)

... And for 79€ (!!!) I also have Woophy (and music, photos, internet, Office docs, Epubs, Usb facilities, etc) in an "android" tablet of 7" (fitting my pocket) called Kyros (by Coby)! 
Luís has Woophy in his IPad because he is a... doctor [no woophy Map, I guess]

Hi Trudy/Joris,
I have also a iPhone and iPad ánd with the Woophy site! 
Zoek op Google (die je dan natuurlijk al als een App op je iPhone/iPad hebt staan) naar de Woophy site en open de site.
Klik op; zet in begin scherm en klik op; voeg toe.
Voilá ....Woophy staat als een App op je iPhone/iPad.
I have used it many times!

Marja, Thank you very much, perhaps I do something wrong, but it doesnot work.
I enter the woophysite and then there is a saying you need adobe, you say : klik op ; , but what do you mean? were do I find this ;
Al others thank you for the information. I am very sorry for nothaving Woophy on the IPad, you never know what comes.
I am a bit afraid for the apllestore at the moment. We bought a little assecoire and they wanted to know our postcode and adres. We got a paper with our name on it. Isn't it strange they want to know ho is buying their things?

Hi Trudy,
Ik stuur je vanavond of morgen een mail en probeer het zo goed als mogelijk is uit te leggen.
Had in het begin ook moeite met Apple, toch behoorlijk commercieel. Maar nu ben ik erg tevreden!
En wil niet meer zonder.

I have woophy on my Ipad now.
I clicked at the bottem of the woophypage, on the word about. Then I could log in and see my
pictures and can go to the other pages. But the quality is not what is usual for apple,

Well this is good news Trudy!
And do not be afraid to buy Apps.
If you do not want to pay with a creditcard (like me) .... then you go on your computer to iTunes .... click on the left side on iTunes store and go to your account.
Than you can choose a payment method. Would you don't pay by creditcard like me, then you click on ClickandBuy.
You can buy Apps with one click (and what they actually cost .... usually no more than € 0.79) After a few days, the cost deducted from your bankaccount.
I have so far no bad experiences.

Hi Trudy,
Ik ben weer uitgerust en heb nu het geduld om het goed uit te leggen.
Ik denk zo te lezen dat je Woophy nog niet als App op je iPad hebt staan, en dat is wel de bedoeling. Als je Woophy in Google hebt geopend moet je niet onderdaan op de site op about klikken, dat heeft geen enkel nut.
Het gaat als volgt; Je zoekt op je iPad op Google de Woophy site.
Als die site goed in je scherm staat dan zie je helemaal onderaan in je scherm
twee pijltjes staan, dan een icoontje met een pijltje naar rechts, dan een icoontje (een soort opengeklapt boek) en dan een icoontje (een vierkantje met een cijfer erin).
Als je dus de Woophy site hebt geopend in Google en je ziet de site in volle glorie, dan klik je op dat icoontje met dat pijltje wijzend naar rechts ( het derde icoontje van links op je scherm) als je op dat icoontje hebt geklikt dan zie je 6 zinnen staan. 1. Voeg bladwijzers toe. 2. Voeg toe aan leeslijst. 3. Zet in beginscherm. Klik dan op; Zet in je beginscherm.
Dan kom je in een schermpje en zie je Woophy staan. Dan klik je rechts bovenaan in je scherm op voeg toe, et voíla dan springt de Woophy site als een App in je scherm.
Nu kan je steeds vanaf die app op de Woophy site zoals op een "gewone" computer.
Dus gewoon elke keer inloggen en je ding doen.
De kwaliteit van de Woophy site is nu als het goed is net zo goed als op je "gewone" computer.
Bij mij is de kwaliteit van de site perfect!
En niet bang zijn om apps te downloaden, waar heb je anders een iPad voor gekocht?
Heel veel apps zijn gratis en die je moet betalen zijn meestal maar € 0,79.
Zo heb ik bijvoorbeel de gratis app What'sApp gedownload, die moet je echt hebben. Hiermee kan je gratis chatten en foto's/ filmpjes etc. versturen.
Ik heb mijn rekeningen bij de ABN lopen en heb de gratis app van de ABN gedownload.....erg handig! Je kan dan zonder je e.dentifier inloggen en je af of bijschrijvingen zien. En ook overboekingen maken zonder je e.dentifier.
Als je niet met een creditkaart wilt betalen zoals ik dan ga je naar iTunes op je "gewone" computer.
Je moet je bij iTunes registreren anders heb je niets aan je iPhone of iPad.....neem aan dat je dat gedaan hebt?
Dan klik je links op iTunes store en klik je rechts op je account. Daar kan je je betaalgegevens instellen. Je klikt dan op ClickandBuy.
Uiteraard moet je dan je naam, adres , mobilenummer, e-mail adres en je bankrekening invullen.
Maar wees niet bang, dat is volkomen veilig, is beschermd.
Als je dat gedaan hebt kan je met je iPad in de App Store apps kopen.
Je download de app die je wilt hebben en hij staat gelijk in je scherm.
Later krijg je dan een e-mail met een overzicht van de aangeschafte apps. Een paar dagen later wordt het bedrag dan van je bankrekening afgeschreven. Ik heb vele apps gekocht en dat heeft misschien niet meer dan € 12,00 gekost.
Ik hoop dat het zo een beetje duidelijk is. Duidelijker kan ik het niet voor je maken.
Hé Trudy, je hebt een iPad en daar moet je dan ook optimaal gebruik van maken, naar mijn idee.

DAnk je wel Marja, ik ga het proberen. Plaats je ook foto's op Woophy via de iPad? En zijn er leuke apps om foto's te bewerken?
Thanks Marja, i am going to try. Do you put photo's on Woophy with the iPad? and are there nice apps to edit pictures?

Hallo Trudy,
Ik heb nog nooit rechtstreeks van mijn iPhone/iPad foto's op Woophy gezet.
Ik zet altijd eerst de foto's op mijn "gewone" computer ~ Ik heb tot nu toe maar één foto op Woophy staan die met mijn iPhone is gemaakt ..... de zwanen met reflecties ~ Maar het moet wel mogelijk zijn, denk ik. Je kan een uitgebreide Nederlandstalige handleiding voor je iPad downloaden van internet.
Voor de App die ik heb gekocht en mij erg goed bevalt, ga je naar de App Store, klik je onderaan in je scherm op categorieën en dan klikken op foto en video. Je ziet dan de App Camera+ van tap tap tap. Met deze App kan je heel gemakkelijk foto's nemen en zijn er vele mogelijkheden om ze daarna te bewerken. Van crops tot special effects, borders en nog veel meer. Erg leuk om mee te spelen. En er zijn ook nog eens mooie resultaten mee te bereiken.

I've never put photos directly from my iPhone/iPad on Woophy.
I always put first the photos on my "normal" computer. ~ I only have one picture on Woophy that's made with my iPhone ..... the swans with reflections ~ But it must be possible, i think. You can download a owner's manual for your iPad from the Internet.
For the camera App I have bought and I like it very well, you go to the App Store, click on categories on the bottom of your screen and then clicking on photo and video.
You will see the App Camera + of tap tap tap. With this App you can easily take pictures and there are many opportunities for them to editing. From crops till special effects, borders and many more. Very fun to play with. And there are good results from it.
