sounds interesting to me too, i don't can imagine right now how you wanna do it in the topics, for me it would be more locigal to do it in blogs.
my suggestion: learning by doing! Ruden, start one in the topic, to see how it works, then next time as a blog. and by working with the 'tool' you see wich way is handier..

i would like to take part, but in a easy way: when i have time, then i join. if i haven't, i will skip. is that ok for you? i have already trouble to have enought time for NUC, and that one gets frist.

Ok guys, I think that we can finish the discussion by now. I think all the ideas where interesting and constructive, but if I have to decide then I must rule out some of them. I have been thinking about the pros and cons and I think the best will be to begin with four forum topics instead of a single forum linking with each member's blog. Anyway, the most important is that we carry out this already and see how it works. Let's enjoy, have fun, be flexible and not care so much about organization rules... If later we see that this way is not so good we can change it without problems.

So, if you agree, we will do it like this:

- Tomorrow evening (Sunday 20th, about 19:00) I will open a new forum topic called "CRITICS WORKSHOP: Ruden Fretsbo's Gallery"
- I will post there the definitive rules of the workshop and around 20 pics selected from my portafolio. You can use it as a model and cut and paste the rules to create your own forum topic concerning your gallery.
- Only four forum topics (this means four member's galleries) will be allowed this week. This is just to avoid floading the forum with this workshop and to really pay attention at every gallery.
- We will follow a list suggested by Abilio, based in the order of joining this current forum. No problem if we must make some changes, but it would be better if we can follow it more or less.
- The updated list is as follows:

Ruden Fretsbo
joopvandijk
TBM
RiSi
geert geenen
ortho158
Nivad
Cloudbuster
Jan Hemels
tiswas
Zeeg
kit-tay
TGB
AbĂlio Silveira
zerega
Lali
Josecps
la rafale
PBX
bruha2
Martin de Rijk
Bluesbuster
Aline
Coffeejunkie
...
...
... (remember it's an open list)

So the first four will be Ruden Fretsbo, joopvandijk, TBM, RiSi. I already have the confirmation of TBM. I'll be sending a message to the rest two members. I'll be not connected until Sunday afternoon, so if any of this three members can not follow the list they should post it here and, eventually, send a message to the next member.

Hugs to all and finger cross!!

are 4 portfolio for one week not too much?
honestly, i think there should be not more then 2 for one week for this reasons:

1.- if you go on with 4 members, then the workshop could be ended in 5 weeks, if there are not more joiing in...

2.- it takes a lot of time to criticize ONE portoflio, but 4? i don't htink i will have time for 4..

just a input from my part

I agree with Cofeejunkie. A long exercice to make it seriously, furthermore with the language barrier for most of us. 2 porfolios a week would be enough IMO too.

Agree with Karin and Zeeg; two is more than enough..
but I would even sugest just one per week, imo that would probably be the best, but of course each topic should stay open for further comments of memebers who did not make it on time but would like to share their opinion also....

This is a great idea and i would like to join in.

4 portfolio's is a little too much, imho.
2 or 1 would be better. Makes it easier to react.

I agree also about the amount of portfolio's.
I personally have to search the time for only one portfolio so, 4 is to much in my opinion.

I'll do the best to join now and then.

if I look at it now, the critics workshops goes very well.
I agree with the others, perhaps only one or two each week should be enough, it's quite a job to look at all of the pictures.

And give critics in English, finding the right words, it is very difficult to write exactly what you mean, so you'll need some time for it.
But I liked to be one of the first in this experiment, the workshop could be a valuable part of woophy.
